After debuting on his own label (co-founded with Alexander Nut), Eglo Records in 2009, the young producer has established himself as one of the modern dance music world’s most continually upfront and trendsetting musicians, an accolade that has earned him the respect of heavy hitters such as Gilles Peterson, Four Tet, Caribou, Benji B, Theo Parrish and many more. 

In part his rise is thanks to his legendary residency at London’s Plastic People, and the subsequent recordings that have been replayed across the globe - including his all night marathon with Four Tet on the infamous venues closing night. Floating Points has become one of the most in-demand DJ’s in the world, regularly featuring on lineups for the best clubs & top festivals, as well as being including year after year in various ‘Best Of’ annual polls from the likes of Resident Advisor & XLR8R

Outside of his studio productions, the record obsessed DJ and neuroscientist-by-day makes use of his classical music training with which he fronts 16 piece group, the Floating Points Ensemble. The group were awarded ‘Best Maida Vale Session’ at Gilles Peterson’s ‘Worldwide Awards’ in 2010.
