Hiphop and disco have always been intertwined. Hiphop was born out of a response to disco, but that influence remained throughout the years. Lately that influence has been returning to Hiphop, so much so that some of our favourite hiphop DJs have become known to throw down a flawless set of disco and boogie cuts for the dance floor.
So, for the first time ever, we're bringing together two DJs already well known for their love of that good 70s stuff, with two DJs better known for making some of the best hiphop on these shores, to all share their love of disco, boogie, funk and soul with the people. It's time for a boogie off in the Woods.
