TOI will celebrate the highly anticipated release of their upcoming EP by doing what they do best – taking their music to the masses.

The Kiwi six-piece has just revealed their self-titled EP will be out on June 18. And to mark the occasion, they’ve also just announced a four-date nationwide tour giving fans the first chance to witness the new musical direction with their own headline shows.

Proudly presented by Eccles Entertainment, the tour will kick off in the band’s hometown of Wellington on Saturday, July 10 at Meow, before heading south to Christchurch to play at Mono Nights at Ngaio Marsh Theatre on Thursday, July 29. They’re in Auckland at Neck of the Woods on Friday, July 30 and Raglan at Yot Club on Saturday, July 31.

The new TOI EP has been over a year in the making, after COVID delayed the band’s release plans. But now after releasing a string of winning singles, including ‘Thinking Too Much’, ‘I Want You’ and ‘Chameleon’ (and the song’s trippy new video) the band is excited to release the full EP.

With Devin Abrams (Drax Project, Pacific Heights, ex-Shapeshifter) on board as executive producer; and with Neil MacLeod as producer; the EP signals a new chapter for TOI. With newly discovered pop sensibilities, it delves into new sonic territories for the band, but what remains consistent is their approach to compelling melodies and grooves; alongside stellar musicianship.

After playing several festivals over summer, TOI can’t wait to get back on the road for their own headline tour. TOI is a cracking live band that’s earned their stripes sharing stages across Australasia with the likes Ocean Alley, Tash Sultana, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Fat Freddy’s Drop, L.A.B and Troy Kingi.

Don’t miss your chance to witness the magic and celebrate the release of their new EP!
