We are privileged to host 2 incredible talents from the UK at the one and only, Neck Of The Woods on the 17th of August.

Sam Binga is a prominent figure in all avenues of dance music, a rare jack of all trades and a master at each to boot. Whether he be making 808 driven slamming electro, funky garage, abstract half time or rolling drum and bass, Sam is in a league of his own with his production calibre. Not one just for the studio either, Sam is equally as skilled behind the decks with his sets spanning all the aforementioned genres and more seamlessly, jam packed with his own production. Sam is also responsible for the smash label, ‘Pineapple Recordings’, which has been blessing people with sensational beats all across the UK Bass and adjacent fields. The fact that the label holds such a high quality of release yet has a sound hard to pin point due to its broad nature of releases speaks to Sams impeccable ear and vision. Come experience a true forwarding thinking icon in dance music in Auckland’s ultimate venue, powered by the mighty Ghost Soundsystem.

We are also thrilled to have our special guest, Frost joining us for the night! Coming from Notts, Frost is a modern day grime pioneer acclaimed for his forward thinking approach to the genre, which has helped push the sound to place new and beyond. He’s far from a newcomer though having spent years producing as one half of Congi, the acclaimed dubstep duo who helped shape the landscape for the chill side of 140 and is responsible for plenty of dubstep classics. The freshest dubs from Nottingham and plenty of wheel ups are inbound, it’s not everyday we get grime artists of this calibre in Auckland - this is not a set to be missed.

On support, we have local legends Keighto and Ruby Lou holding down the first half of the night! These two have been meaning to play together for far too long and fortunately the stars have aligned. Each of these weapons bring a unique flavour to the dance and there sounds whilst different, merge beautifully so we’re in for a treat. These DJs know how to hold the floor and their USBs are stacked for this. MC PL@ will also be holding down hosting duties keeping the vibes high and providing lyrical content.
